General information (this is information parents will receive, but they may ask you about)
What should my child wear?
There is a dress code.
All students should wear jeans or dark pants, and tennis shoes or soft-soled shoes.
Shirts do not need to be a solid color -
just mostly the assigned color,
and any shade!
1st grade students should wear Purple shirts.

Where do I drop-off my student?
First graders – ALL Report to the stage

Where can I pick up my First Grade student?
After first grade performs, their performance obligations will be over and they will report to classrooms with the fifth graders.
You can pick-up first grade students anytime between the time their are done performing until third grade performs.
Two pick-up options

- If you feel that your first grade student can sit on your lap in the auditorium, you are welcome to pick-up your child and bring them back to the auditorium and watch the rest of the show.
- If you would like, you can pick-up your first grader and leave for the evening. Students who are in grades 2-5 will sing together at the end of the concert.
- Mrs. Stafford’s class will be in the Choir room (with Mrs. Alexander’s 5th graders)
Mrs. Scherer’s class will be in room PA 103 (with Mrs.William’s 5th graders)
Mrs. Hutchins' class will be in room PA 106 (with Mr. Ward’s 5th graders)

Wednesday Feb. 3 – (A-day) Grade level rehearsal during specials – all classes report to the gym
Monday Feb. 8 - 10:15 – 10:45 1st grade rehearsal – will not interfere with specials
Wednesday Feb. 17 – (C-Day) Grade level rehearsal during specials – all classes report to the gym
Wednesday Feb. 24 – (B- Day) Grade level rehearsal during specials – all classes report to the gym
Wednesday March 2nd - Grade 1-2 Rehearsal in the gym 10:30 - 11:30 - We will take to lunch right after this practice.

Volunteers
Every classroom will be assigned two high school volunteers. These volunteers to be given instructions and materials to help them entertain your students. They will also be in charge of Tweeting pictures and sharing pictures from the show with your students.

Hutchins - High school student volunteers: Nebraska-Lynn White & Ellie Malehorn
Teacher covering your class: Sarah Rudolph and Karen Shively

Teachers should report to the stage at 6:30 PM.
When parents drop off please remind:
- Students should leave their coats with their parents.
- To look in the program for directions on where and when to pick-up their children.
a) Students will report to the stage 6:30 - 7:00PM... they should come at 6:45PM
b) High school student volunteers will also report to the stage (please introduce yourself)
c) Please make sure that Logan (Scherer) and Keirson (Stafford) get their button down white shirts on (Chuck Burkhart's side of the stage)
d) 1st grade students will sing their songs - then the curtain will close
e) 1st grade stays on the risers, and 2nd grade will join them on the risers
f) 1st and 2nd grade sings Anything you do I can to do better
e) Curtains will close
f) 1st grade leaves the stage - Please make sure you the button down shirt that Keirson Alexander and Jacob (Scherer) are wearing and return to the box on the stage (thank you)
g) 1st goes to their pick-up classrooms (with 5th grade - see map)
h) Parents will pick-up students anytime between the time that you are done singing and when 3rd grade sings...
i) Then you are done for the evening! You are welcome to come on stage and watch the show - best seats in the house!
